About Eric Dishmon

I am currently working as a Senior Data Analyst at Red Hat. Joining Red Hat in 2022, I have worked closely with a variety of groups, including Partner Marketing and Commercial, to provide detailed analyses on Marketing performance, data exploration to discover trends in performance, and regular reporting using Tableau and Databricks. I have had the opportunity to regularly present to a variety of stakeholders, such as senior leadership and department-wide, requiring different levels of detail to cater to the audience. With prior job and internship experience, as well as an education in Data Science and Business Analytics, I work comfortably with a variety of groups as a liaison explaining difficult technical concepts to people on the business side as well as communicating business needs to teams on the Data Engineering and Data Science teams. Some of my hobbies are playing sports with friends (anything with a paddle, racket, or disc), cooking/baking (I make a pretty good cheesecake), gardening (currently in planters, but one day in the ground), and reading (mostly fiction or biographies).
