About Eric Doppert

Never in my life have I failed due to lack of effort. I do my best in absolutely everything I take on. The classes I took in college to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing have all taught me incredible and valuable things. I have learned the proper way to conduct market research, how to generate surveys, even how to interpret the results of the survey in SPSS. IBM Watson is another tool that we went into great detail on and studied to great effect. Additionally, we were taught the intricacies of supply chain management, the importance of not only increasing revenue but also being able to cut costs. The one constant in all of my classes in the business program at California State University of Fullerton was group work. If I could only take away one piece of knowledge from the entirety of my education there, it would be the knowledge I gained by having to manage entirely different groups of people and focus all our energies into producing an outstanding piece of work. However, I believe that it is my personal and work experiences that have set me apart from everyone else. While not starting in marketing right out of college was not what I had planned, it was a pivotal part in my evolution. I “grew up” in logistics and transportation which is an invaluable education. In my first job, I worked processing paperwork that the drivers turned in as well as routing the next day’s deliveries & inputting the shipments for the outbound trailers leaving that same night. Work was balanced with attending college full time as well. Graduation came and went while still working part time and looking for my first real job. In all honesty, it was a new feeling not being tied to going to school and only having to work nights part time. The mini vacation that recharged the batteries was greatly needed before getting back to the grind looking for a solid career. Interviews came and went but nothing substantial until June 2019 where I was offered a job at my current employer. The job did come with challenges, just as all new opportunities do which I was able to overcome and with guidance reach a new level that was thought to be unreachable. The day to day work enlightened me to the other side of the business,(working with the other departments, observing the relationship between them and of course interactions with customers that was not so visible when working second shift at my previous job) I bring this knowledge, experience and a willingness to learn to the table in hopes that it can benefit the organization in a meaningful way.
