About Eric Durkee

My name is Eric Durkee, and I am a hard-working Christian husband and father of three. I have been married to my lovely wife (Sarah) since 2004. In 2006, our first child was born (Isaiah) and then Ivy (2009) and Levi (2011) followed. My faith and my family are what keep my grounded. I have volunteered for our church and my wife and I work very hard to support our kids. I have been in the telecommunications industry since 2006. I began my career as a field technician, installing and troubleshooting video, internet, and telephone for our customers. In 2012 I promoted to a field technician supervisor where I have led a high performing team of 8-15 technicians. My technicians take great pride in taking care of our customers. My focus is to continue to support my technicians by getting them the training and tools that they need to be successful. Along with taking care of my technicians, I have also worked hard to develop (or edit existing) reports that make it easier to support my team. When I develop reports such as these, I share with peers, so they are also able to use the data in an effort to help their respective teams. When not at work, I also have experience as a church councilman at St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo, Wisconsin. I was blessed to serve on council from 2014-2022 where I worked with 8 other men where we were tasked to: oversee the day-to-day operations of the church, develop long range plans for our church, deal with personnel issues, and work to develop a budget that we proposed to the congregation for their approval. Most recently, I also took on the role of youth group leader where my goal was to engage the teenagers of St. John’s to keep them involved at church and with each other. In June 2022, I was able to be a chaperone for the 2022 WELS Youth Rally. I took six youth members to Knoxville, TN so they could enjoy a week with 2300 other youth members from around the country.
