About Eric Earthman

A true Texan and Houstonian by birth, this journey into the world of hospitality began in the vibrant streets of New Orleans, where he waited tables at the historic Napoleon House during his college years. Later, his passion for culinary arts led him to pursue a degree in the field, setting the stage for a career that would blend creativity with service. Post-graduation, he climbed the ranks in some of Austin's most notable kitchens, eventually establishing his own culinary venture, Counter 357, a tasting menu concept that showcased culinary artistry and no servers. Although the restaurant eventually closed, his career took an exciting turn when he joined Whole Foods Market at their downtown headquarters, further diversifying his experience in large scale operations during a global pandemic leading 250 employees. In 2021, he found his true calling in Lakeway, where he now oversees the operations at The Hills. This story is one of passion, perseverance, and finding the perfect fit in the world of hospitality, where he can blend his love for food, service, and community.
