About Eric Eastham

Experienced professional in physics and engineering, with a demonstrated history of working in technical fields. Have completed many courses in both Engineering and Physics at Utah State University, culminating in graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics. Have explored and gained experience in technical fields through university courses, having been a part of student group assignments and projects, the completion of class labs at multiple levels, and have gained experience in research as part of the graduation requirements as a Physics Major. Completed research into inertial navigation methods, which included data collection, analysis, and troubleshooting. Have also been a primary contributor to the USU Rocketry Club since its reforming in August 2017, working on projects such as USU's project for the 2018 Spaceport America Cup, and the SEDS Rocketry Challenge in 2019. Was a primary contributor in other club projects including a two stage attempt to break feet, and an attempt to complete the NASA Student Launch Competition. Have been an active member of the Get Away Special Club at USU, completing tasks and contributing to the Get Away Special Passive Attitude Control cubesat, which was deployed from the International Space Station in January 2020. Assisted in design verification tests, documentation writing, and in design tasks. Also worked on research into orbital dynamics, heat transfer, and rotational dynamics. Have gained experience in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, and other design software in both academic and professional environments. Have also gained experience in the principles and use of C++, Java, and Python for academic and personal projects.
