About Eric Ellman
As the Founding Director of Your Canal Boat, CIC, I lead a social enterprise that identifies and activates canalside locations for outdoor performance and education. With a background in hydrology and geology, and a passion for the outdoors, people, music, and history, I have developed and delivered almost $2 million worth of environmental and cultural projects on both sides of the Atlantic. I recently completed a U.S. State Department contract for to develop scientifically informed spoken word poetry in partnership with IPCC climate scientists and performing artists from both sides of the Atlantic. This grant, through Your Canal Boat, CIC, supports my mission to promote and develop the overlooked heritage resource that is 100 miles of London canals.
