Background
About Eric Ens
I am a mathematician and data scientist with a PhD in mathematics from York University (and occasional musician). I’m working at TD as an data scientist in cybersecurity working often with the Splunk platform. Through working on a PhD dissertation I have learned to use changing perspectives to solve difficult problems and adapt existing knowledge and experience to new problems and projects. I have demonstrated the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas by teaching mathematics courses and presenting research at conferences. I have specific skills in python and SQL with several data science packages like SciKitLearn and Pandas.
