About Eric Erickson

Originally from southwestern Virginia, I’ve spent the last five years working as an Associate Design Director at McGarrah Jessee in Austin, Texas. Prior to that I lived in Denver where I was a Senior Designer at White Wave Foods and an Art Director at Cultivator. As a designer, I believe in the power of story telling as a way to build stronger relationships. I think that good, smart design can be a catalyst in forging a tighter bond between brands and their consumers. I specialize in the development of creative foundations and visual identities for large and small businesses. Over the last 10 years I’ve had the pleasure of working for a wide range of clients including YETI Coolers, Costa Sunglasses, 4ocean, Howler Brothers, Chacos Footwear, Case Knives, Vail Resorts, Telluride Tourism, Estes Park Tourism, Horizon Organics, International Delight, Silk Soy Milk, RockResorts, DIAGEO (Guinness and Red Stripe Breweries), New Belgium Brewery, United Airlines, The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek and more, earning acclaim in Communication Arts, Graphis, Adweek, Lürzer’s Archive, Fast Company, and both regional and national ADDYs. I am currently taking on new clients and would love to help you tell your story. If you have an upcoming project to discuss please say hello or send me an email at ponderingtype@gmail.com.
