A results-oriented, hands-on attorney, Eric Evans has over 2 decades of experience advising both external and internal clients in law firm and in-house settings. A strong researcher with excellent writing skills, he has a proven ability to communicate complex concepts in a way that allows his clients to make intelligent business decisions. Eric also has deep experience working on cross-functional as well as cross-cultural teams and has made two separate training trips to Bangalore, India. Currently Eric is Senior Vice President and Chief Regulatory Compliance Counsel for ServiceLink, a member of the Fidelity National Financial family of companies. In that role, he provides counsel and guidance on compliance and regulatory matters to all of ServiceLink's business units, including title insurance and closing, asset management, default services, mortgage loan servicing and valuations. He also stays abreast of any regulatory changes that affect the financial services industry, especially the activity of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, so that he can adequately advise the various businesses. Eric is also a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. Prior to joining ServiceLink, Eric was Director of Title Production for Premium Title Services, Inc, part of the Altisource family of companies. In that role, he was responsible for overall title policy production in a high-volume title agency utilizing both onshore and offshore assets. Prior to joining Premium Title, Eric was Vice President and State Manager for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. In that role, he oversaw all Georgia operations, which includes managing account representatives, underwriters and claims personnel. He had P&L responsibility for the state and oversaw a 25% growth in market share during his last three years with the company. Eric is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and Georgia and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. Tax Court.
