Currently a Director, Demarket Coordination & Global Name Scanning, within RBC’s Financial Crimes team. I have 10+ years experience in a number of Financial Crime related matters, including Financial Crime fusion strategy development, regulatory gap assessments, program & policy/procedure development and enhancement, AML/ATF and Sanctions compliance transformations, risk rating and monitoring/screening systems enhancement, data management transformation initiatives and large-scale KYC remediations, to name a few. I have directly managed teams as large as 30, while having a leadership role across teams as large as 70. My financial services industry AML experience spans across multiple Schedule I FIs. I have served as a Senior Manager in an Enterprise-Wide AML Project Management Office (“EPMO”), focusing on their global CRR transformation. There, I collaborated with stakeholders across global business lines and sub business units. Additionally, I have worked with multiple leading bank’s AML high-risk units, remediating KYC information and completing enhanced due diligence for the bank’s Capital Market, Corporate, Commercial, Small Business & Retail high-risk client populations.
