About Eric Forteza

Eric Forteza is a Senior in Cabot House and is pursuing a concentration in Government in the Data Science track and a Secondary in History. He is originally from Cuba but lives with his family in Miami, Florida. On-campus, Eric is the President of Harvard Undergraduate Democracy Matters, an Organizing Fellow for Harvard Votes Challenge, a Finance Manager in the Cabot Cafe, and is involved in the Harvard Political Union, the Campaigns and Advocacy Program, the Community Action Committee, the Harvard Undergraduate Latinxs in Finance & Technology, the Harvard Cuban-American Undergraduate Students Association, and the Harvard Knitting Circle. Additionally, Eric is a Course Assistant for Government 50, the introductory Government course for data science. Outside of campus, Eric has worked as a Student Organizer for UN-PAC and as an Organizing Fellow for When We All Vote. Eric is a co-founder, a Regional Organizer, and a data analyst for Rhizome, a non-partisan non-profit organization seeking to activate young people’s identities into civic action. This past summer, Eric worked as a policy intern for the Office of the Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Eric hopes to return to D.C. after graduating to work in public policy.
