About Eric Gilfus

At the age of six Eric Gilfus began studying piano and within a year, he performed his first piano recital. He fell in love with the horn when he was 12, and continues a deep and happy relationship with this instrument today. Eric enjoys performing as a substitute horn with the SC Philharmonic, Charleston, Hilton Head and other regional Symphonies. Mr. Gilfus has worked on several degrees in music performance. Eric has worked towards a Bachelors, Masters and most recently a Performer Diploma (post doctorate program) from Indiana University Graduating with a 3.97 GPA. Eric was key to the success and operation of a music store in Fort Collins Colorado that bought, sold and traded musical instruments. Eric has since moved to Columbia, South Carolina, a place he’s proud to call home. As a cyclist on the sponsored Massage Envy team and as a brand ambassador for Specialized Bicycles- he is ecstatic to merge his passion of working with people, encouraging others to lead healthy lifestyles and lead sales with a successful family owned company- Commercial Fitness Service & Sales.
