About Eric Gomez

In reviewing my professional history, you will find that throughout my military career; I have been given the opportunity to engage in training and operations of several missions throughout the needs of my battalion. Having this opportunity to lead several missions and training evolutions, I have developed the skills to assess operating procedures and facilitate the standardization, protocols needed for both domestic and international environments. Many of my previous and current accomplishments directly correlate to the objectives and expectations of a higher caliber. • Supervised up to 12 personnel in daily and weekly training, duty assignment, and task completion while maintaining morale and discipline. • Instilled discipline through daily observations and evaluations of personnel in the workplace, ensuring work related procedures were followed and physical training standards were met. • As a supervisor, conducted quality control and assurance measures while developing standard operating procedures then trained co-workers within the Light Armored Reconnaissance (LAR) community in those procedures. • Mentored and counseled subordinates to identify and implement steps to attain personal and professional goals. • Consulted with superiors in developing and adjusting standard operating procedures. • Received and analyzed information and used experiences and training to make decisions and quickly adjust to necessary operational changes. • Holding an Associate’s degree in Homeland Security and still currently working towards my Bachelors in Homeland Security.
