About Eric Gonzalez-Payne
As the founder of Empathy School International, I have been applying a science-based approach to children's learning for decades. I have a Master of Education degree from Harvard University, where I focused on school development and social emotional learning. I also have a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Georgia, where I specialized in non-profit, public, and organizational management. My mission is to provide social emotional learning for parents, their children, and teachers, and to support education systems that adopt experiential, inquiry-based, and fun methods of teaching and learning. I have established centers in the USA, Indonesia, and have held short term camps in China and Thailand. I have also founded Empathy Global, which provides social emotional curriculum for schools around the world. Currently, more than 120 schools are using our curriculum for early years and lower primary education programs.
