About Eric Green

With over 20 years of experience serving the City of Memphis as a sweeper operator and crew chief, I’ve developed a strong foundation in leadership, operations, and problem-solving. Throughout my career, I’ve managed crews, operated heavy machinery, and ensured the cleanliness and safety of our city streets. While I’m proud of this work, my true passion lies in technology.I’m currently transitioning into the IT field, building on my hands-on experience with a solid academic foundation. I hold an Associate Degree in Technical Studies from Eastern Gateway Community College, a diploma in Information Technology from Tennessee College of Applied Technology, and I’m actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology from DeVry University. Additionally, I’ve earned certifications in Computer and Information Sciences through Coursera and in HVACR systems from the Climate Control Institute. My goal is to combine my operational knowledge and emerging IT skills to solve complex problems, optimize systems, and contribute to organizations that value innovation, reliability, and growth. I’m especially interested in roles where I can support infrastructure, troubleshoot systems, and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
