About Eric Gurley

My professional career has been in the nonprofit sector. My goal is to make a difference in the lives of those in my community. I believe this can occur through opportunities that are diverse and inclusive to assure persons of all walks of life participate and engage in a way they find meaningful. As Executive Director of Access Alaska, Inc. I provide executive leadership, supervision, and administrative oversight duties for an agency that is an Independent Living Center, a provider of Consumer Directed Personal Care Services, and a Durable Medical Equipment Loan Closet for community members in and around the Alaskan cities of Fairbanks and Anchorage. I also have a long history of developing, monitoring, and managing community rehabilitation programs (CRP). I worked for three of Alaska's largest nonprofits providing supports to persons experiencing intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental and behavioral health needs. From 1994-2019 I worked for the nonprofit CRP, Hope Community Resources, Inc. I participated in multiple responsibilities including leadership roles in operations, human resources, and programs.
