Producer/Writer for some of TV’s top news talents including Chris Hansen, John Stossel, Chris Cuomo, John Quinonnes, and Jim Avila. Responsible for content and all creative aspects of news production and reality based news programming from concept to air. Manage teams of people to follow a story resulting in compelling and award winning reports. Segments include breaking news “crashes” to several months-long investigations, consumer reports and high profile features. • Research, cast and interview subjects to participate. Collaborate with and direct correspondents. Provide correspondents with research materials, story outlines and questions for interviews. Personally conduct interviews including “man on the street” and confrontational interviews. • Hire top rated Beta camera crews throughout the country and utilize the major archival film and stills houses. • Rig mini cameras on a person, in a vehicle or at other locations for unique “point of view” shots, covert stake outs and stings. • Shoot, obtain or create all video, music, graphics, chyrons, stills, special effects and other elements for the segment. Write the report and collaborate with legal and ethics departments, promotions, and graphics. Work with an editor and show director on the final product.
