About Eric Hansen

My name is Eric Perri, Who am I? I am a film director, screenwriter, and producer for the entertainment industry. When I see a blank canvas I immediately see all the ways I can turn this thing: into a world, a universe a place where I can show you the stars, the earth, the human condition as you might not have seen them before. That’s what I do. I’m a storyteller and a filmmaker. My passion is to take my ideas, your ideas and turn them into something that will entertain, enlighten and invoke emotion in the audience; and the only way I know how to do that is through cinema. My journey into the entertainment industry started as a child. I would imagine all the time and transform my home into a stage where I would act out characters living in alternative realities from my own. My mind was so obsessed with storytelling that I wrote short stories during class time. Some people say that being creative is a hobby, but I know it’s a way of life. There is no middle ground for people like me. Now as an adult I’ve spent many years honing my skills in different aspects of filmmaking. I’ve studied: writing, directing, and producing from award-winning filmmakers who have shared their knowledge and insight with me. Now armed with these tools I’ve set my sights cutting my path in the film industry with my passion, my vision, my voice.
