Background

About Eric Harden

Over the years I have worked many types of positions, but five years ago I really found a passion I wanted to turn into my career. I've had a lifelong love for video games and advancing technologies and decided to make the pivot towards those fields by returning to college for my second Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. While I've been in school, I have attempted to move my working career into the industry, and so far have gained two years of experience in the Information Technology field. I've done various tasks as an IT Associate, but my real skills in programming have come from my academic career and extracurricular activities. I have grown proficient with both Python and Java languages, with some additional knowledge in JavaScript, C++, and C# languages as well. I also have some experience working with Git and continuous integration tools like Bitbucket, and some experience working with database management languages like MySQL. I maintain a 3.9 GPA on my degree, all while continuing to advance my working career. I'm a quick study, an attentive listener, and a natural problem solver. I work well in a team environment, believing good communication is key to ensuring my colleagues and I achieve any goal we set our minds to. I believe a team is only as strong as its weakest link, and so I strive to constantly improve myself as to meet the standards set. Feel free to message me, I'd love to chat.
