Intellectual, worldly, fastidious and committed science and science fiction geek. Seeking to be challenged in the accounting field. Studying for the CPA Exam, hopefully to be completed by mid 2018. Previously worked as a mutual fund accountant and a staff accountant at a travel agency. While there, worked at balancing company bank accounts, calculated employee performance-based bonus pay, balanced credit card payments and prepared monthly statements for capital assets. Took a break from accounting in 2008 to return to college in hopes of possibly becoming a high school science teacher. Political events in Madison took that career change option away from me, and I found myself working in manufacturing while the economy recovered. Came back to accounting in April of this year. Through Robert Half, I assisted with the pending merger between Wheaton Franciscan and Ascension Medical (Columbia St. Mary's) as a pricing analyst. I also worked as an inventory and scheduling coordinator at Gehl Foods, also through Robert Half.
