Eric Hinz has more than twenty years of experience in the financial services industry across a variety of positions. From developing a book of business as a broker to customer service and problem resolution in a call center, he recognizes the importance of client acquisition and retention. Providing client reporting and performance measurement for a small asset management firm and customized performance reporting for a global one showed the importance of providing clients the information needed to understand the vital services offered. He spent a year in project management which brought all his previous experience together to work across departments and end users. This depth and breadth of experience came together when he was named the Head of Risk management at one of the largest emerging markets asset managers in Asia. He helped launch a suite of ’40 Act funds that have been rated four and five stars by Morningstar for the past two years. Mr. Hinz was in the vanguard of performance measurement experts to be awarded the first Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement designations from the CFA Institute in 2006. He was also in the vanguard of those who recognized the value of a growing consumer class in the emerging markets.
