About Eric J. Heideman
I was born and raised in rural Western Massachusetts. I joined the U.S. Navy Seabees at age 19 and served 5 years (2005-2010) on active duty assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 stationed out of Port Hueneme, California. I completed four overseas deployments while on active duty, including tours to: Japan, Africa, and Afghanistan (x2). Upon honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy, I enrolled in graduate school and started working in local government as a Public Facilities Director. I was fortunate enough to advance my career and was selected to serve as the Town of Westford's Assistant Town Manager, a position I served in for 7+ years (2016-2023). I'm currently working in the private sector as a Municipal Sales Manager at Republic Services, an exciting position that still enables me to utilize many of the customer service based skills that I’ve I developed while working in both our U.S. Military and local government.
