About Eric Johansson

Over the years, I have held several developer and analyst roles involved in implementing ERP, CRM, and analytics solutions for businesses of all sizes. I've also helped to improve business processes in the functional areas of Channel Management, Operations, and Sales and Marketing. Regardless of my official role, I have always bridged the gap between business users and solution development. Although mostly serving as a member of an IT organization, many of my strongest relationships have been with those on the business side. I make it a priority to empathize with users, communicate in terms they can understand, and carefully draw out the details of what they need to succeed in their roles. I then leverage my experience as a developer to design a holistic solution and, when needed, clearly communicate that in language that application developers can understand (often, not as easy as it sounds). Working collaboratively with both sides throughout implementation, I ensure the resulting solutions have minimal defects and, in many cases, exceed users' expectations. The result is not only a great system solution, but the well-earned trust of business users and developers alike; this is my measure of success.
