These foundational lessons steered me towards a career that marries the art and science of medicine. With over 23 years of experience as a Chief Medical Officer and Physician Executive, I've had the privilege of directing hospital and clinical operations, driving quality improvement, and fostering a culture of excellence. My dual-boarded expertise in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine allows me to blend clinical acumen with strategic vision, optimizing patient care delivery and ensuring exceptional outcomes. What fuels my passion for this work is the ability to support people and build systems that lead to better healthcare experiences. For me, being a great place to work is inseparable from being a great place to receive care. It's about building relationships, engaging physicians at all levels, and driving interdisciplinary collaboration. In my journey, I find joy in mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals, from former residents to MBA students with an interest in medicine.
