About Eric Kh Lai

With over 15 years of clinical experience in addition to a Master of Social Science degree in Social Work, I have been working as Assistant Social Worker Officer for more than seven years and Social Work Assistant for around three years in the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong where I have ample opportunities to gain valuable clinical experience and demonstrate my excellent abilities in providing clinical assessment, emotional support and supportive counseling to individuals who suffer from mental distress. Before that, I used to work as a Registered Social worker in a non-profitable charitable organization where I practiced and applied the Strength-based & Recovery model approach in delivering services to my clients as well as their family members. I am a loyal and cooperative team player as illustrated by my stable job records in the past 20 years. Throughout my career, I have been recognized to be capable of communicating effectively with my service users as well as their family members and showing support to them. I am diligent and inquisitive, which encourages me to adopt lifelong learning. Moreover, thanks to my church life and the scout experience since 1997, I have learnt to be amiable and responsive
