About Eric Konarik

After graduating high school I joined the US Army. During this time I was assigned to 443 ADA as a Patriot Missile Crew Member. After I left the military I joined Local Millwright Union 2232 in February 0f 1997. Where I spent four years in the millwright apprenticeship program earning journeyman status. Through my whole apprenticeship I worked for Atlantic Plant Maintenance. While working at APM I worked on GE gas turbines until the summer of 2004. In the fall of 2004 I came to work for Thomason Mechanical Corporation. Witch is now EthosEnergy Field Service. As a Journeyman Millwright I worked numerous Olefins T/A's. After hurricane Katrina I was part of an effort to help pump the flood waters out of New Orleans. Then we were asked to go down to Chevron Phillips in Belle Chasse La. This site seen over 20' of water and was a total loss. During the seven months we were there we removed, replaced, or repaired over 940 pieces of rotating equipment. This is where I had my first opportunity to start supervising Millwright crews. I continued to grow with each project and led most of our largest turnarounds for the past 15 years. Since then I have worked my way through the ranks and now I am the Field Operations Manager for our Pasadena office.
