The mortgage banking sector is in a constant state of flux. Changing customer expectations, combined with disruption from FinTech startups are fundamentally upending the industry. Technologies such artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are reshaping the ways customers shop for loans, and the manner in which lenders source and qualify borrowers, evaluate risk, and underwrite loans. My solid history of leading initiatives that drive growth for the industry enable me to raise awareness and engagement with target markets. With an entrepreneurial mindset and a results-driven approach, I am highly skilled at creative problem-solving and at generating ideas. Committed to making both recommendations and decisions that are rooted in solid facts, I use data-driven decisioning models to enable superior outcomes for all stakeholders. In my most recent role with Bank Midwest, I led a team of 15 to manage the bank’s retail mortgage operations, including processing, underwriting, closing document preparation, post-close and servicing, and servicing transfers. My team and I drove a 41% increase in income from fees, which resulted in 20% ROI in 2019. As customer behaviors constantly evolve, I make it a point to put the customer at the center of everything I do. I created a digital experience for retail mortgage customers by doing just that. This solution enabled customers to personalize loan terms to fit with their needs, lock in at the best rates, and save time. By putting the customer in the driver’s seat, I was able to drive an increased NPS score and customers received the experience that they wanted. I am excited about the next phase of my career.
