About Eric L.

Eric Luo is an Ontario Certified Teacher, specializing in Instrumental Music and Biology. Eric completed his Bachelor of Education with a focus on assessment and evaluation at Queen's University. He completed his Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, where he studied music education and oboe, and obtained a Minor in biology. While completing his Bachelor of Music, Eric studied oboe under the guidance of Richard Dorsey and played in the University of Toronto Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony. Eric was also involved and participated in various chamber music ensembles, conducting symposiums, music educators conferences and orchestral opportunities. In addition to his major ensemble playing, he was involved in student leadership as Vice President Internal for the Faculty of Music Undergraduate Association for two terms, where he engaged in financial record-keeping of daily expenses and demonstrated skills in assisting the Association meet its goals. Eric’s passion for music education and teaching allows him to work with a wide range of students and have them set high expectations for themselves. He uses his wide range of educational experience to find different teaching methods to better support his students. He is a dedicated individual who will always put in maximum effort in everything that he does and is always excited for the various opportunities that is presented to him.
