I am a passionate engineer when it comes to product development. My primary area of expertise is consumer products, specifically toys and baby gear. I push myself constantly to find creative solutions to problems and to constantly learn about the newest technologies and tools. My domains of product knowledge include: plastics, soft goods, tube bending and metal forming, and some electrical systems. I also have experience in product/project management and I am capable of creating Product Development Schedules, vendor communication and negotiation, and managing/organizing workflow. Specialties include: CAD Modeling (Parametric, Direct, Surface)(ProE, Solidworks, Fusion 360) 2-D design (Adobe Illustrator) Requirement identification and specification 3D printing (Design for 3d printing, 3D printing tools and device knowledge) Microcontrollers and electronics (Arduino and a working knowledge of circuits and circuit components) FEA Simulation Mechanism design Far East relations and vendor development Product Development Schedule management Vendor Relations My hobbies include 3D design, 3D printing and other rapid prototyping methods, game theory and design, graphic design, and product development.
