Born and raised in Hongkong for 18 years before I settled in Vancouver, BC, Canada. 20+ years of experience working in various roles in several Non-Profit organizations in Metro-Vancouver. I enjoy meeting and working alongside with newcomers and local residents to development communities on the unceded, ancestral, traditional and occupied homelands of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Currently looking for opportunities for my career growth. Over 10 years of experience assisting over a thousand newcomers with the following services FREE of charge: Government form-filling, career guidance, service referrals and community participations. Devoted to help newcomers removing barriers to their settlement and career development journeys through 1-on-1 coaching, workshop facilitation and arranging volunteer placements. I am passionate about organizing volunteer-driven community services in Vancouver South. Year round, I recruit and manage volunteers in community festivals hosted by the local Business Improvement Association (BIA).
