Summary Eric is an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Consulting Manager for Triumvirate in the Mid-Atlantic Region and has over 12 years of experience in occupational safety and health. In his role as an EHS Consulting Manager, he works closely with life science, healthcare, educational and industrial clients to ensure that EHS programs are accurate and effective amidst constantly changing regulations. Eric provides tailored development and management of EHS programs and initiatives to achieve client goals and regulatory compliance. These activities also include managing Triumvirate’s Mid-Atlantic North Team of EHS Consultants to leverage these same services. In addition to his breadth of experience, Eric holds multiple degrees and safety credentials including a MS in Occupational Safety and Health/Environmental Management, a BA in Emergency and Disaster Management, and is a Certified Safety Professional and Registered Environmental Professional. Prior to starting work with Triumvirate, Eric served in various full-time roles with the Delaware Army National Guard in a variety of locations around the world. He managed, created, and audited multiple occupational health and safety programs; performed safety inspections; monitored and controlled hazardous workplace exposures; began implementation of voluntary safety initiatives; and delivered a variety of occupational safety training classes to his units. During his time at Triumvirate, Eric has developed and audited hundreds of different safety programs for over two dozen different clients. Eric has extensive Industrial Hygiene knowledge and experience with laboratory chemical and bioaerosol exposures, as well as mold contamination within higher education and cleanroom laboratory facilities. Eric has helped clients interface their EHS programs with the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements. In addition, Eric has significant experience with helping clients navigate and achieve compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements for life safety, chemical storage, and fire protection. Eric has delivered a wide breadth of safety training classes to clients on their company and site-specific safety programs and also assists clients in achieving corporate sustainability and waste minimization goals. Eric has presented technical seminars on Ototoxic Chemical Exposures, Biosafety, and Hazardous Waste Management. Eric serves as the Treasure of the Chesapeake ASSP Chapter.
