About Eric Lucy

I hold a B.S. in Criminology with a minor in accounting. I have almost 20 years of exceptional service as a police officer at the municipal level, with experience in three states with four law enforcement entities. I have worked in almost every distinct discipline within law enforcement from street level patrol in both major metropolitan areas and suburban/rural areas. I have been an investigator conducting multi-state criminal network investigations as well as a patrol officer at the street level dealing with every level of enforcement that can entail. At present, and for the past six years I have been working as a patrol supervisor for my current department. I am a general instructor, IALEFE master firearms instructor and trainer for many disciplines within the law enforcement profession. Since I was very young, I have had a fascination with anything mechanical. As a result, I have acquired knowledge and experience working with raw classical and modern materials to fabricate parts from scratch, or facilitate repairs. Surface treatment, media blasting and tumbling, as well as powdercoating and painting are specialties of my side business. Blacksmithing, bladesmithing, machining, welding and metalworking are also services I am able to provide. At the heart of it, I consider myself a professional problem solver. Whether that is finding a solution for landowners in a property line squabble, or fabricating a part or mechanism to facilitate a functioning motor swap in a non-typical recipient vehicle. I always try to find or create a solution for any problem placed in front of me.
