Do you know what it takes to create change that matters? The ability to embrace failure and learn from it. Creating a solid plan isn’t enough. Staying the course has sunk more businesses than can be easily counted. The organization that constantly revises and improves, that looks at what doesn’t work and immediately pivots to a new path; that’s the company that will thrive. My career has been spent looking for better ways to improve processes. Whether it’s small adjustments or a corporate wide culture shift, the core principles are the same. There needs to be a sense of urgency and it needs to be communicated effectively. I’ve learned from experience the best ways to show the need for change and how to create the pathway towards it. 30 years’ experience in senior positions in the manufacturing sector including: electronics, medical, beverages, construction, consumer goods, and plastics. Eric has held positions as Plant Manager, Director of Operations, Project Manager and Manufacturing Engineer that required an experienced lean transformation leader with a broad cross-functional background, that demonstrated success in driving improvements across transactional business processes. Have worked and consulted with over 700 different manufacturing and service companies over an impressive career as a Lean Practitioner. Some industries that I worked in: Medical Devices, Consumer Goods, Industrial Products, Steel Fabrication, Electrical Components / Power Distribution, to name a few. Accomplished in problem solving, lean principles, productivity, and standardizing processes. Have a B.S. in Industrial Technology from California University of Pennsylvania (Penn West) and holds a MBA from Waynesburg University. In addition to certificates in Practical Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping and Lean Kaizen event facilitation, FMEA, RCA, Master Kata Coach, and Lean Tool Implementations.
