About Eric MacIolek

Resumes, as interesting as they may be, don't tell everything. Below is my documented history. I am from a small town northwest of Milwaukee, WI, USA. Here, I braved childhood as one of four siblings, three of them being girls. I come from a proud heritage of craftsmen, from butchers and bakers to electricians and steamfitters. In this small town, my passion for the outdoors, motorsports, hard work, and academics flourished. From day one my zeal for engineering and mechanics was born. With this desire, I achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on controls, mechanical systems, and internal combustion engines from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Post-graduation, I pursued an engineering consultant role specializing in ICE and EV powertrain management control systems, their vehicle architectures, and program management. Utilizing embedded model-based development strategies, I was able to quickly deploy numerous electric vehicles ranging from small test stands to multi-megawatt architectures. During this time, my curiosity and desire to build a company of my own accelerated. Upon discussion and collaboration with two of my colleagues, H3X was born. While leveraging our unique skill sets, we strive to generate the highest power density integrated motor drive. We believe with our pre-attained knowledge, ability to adapt and learn, we will define the new standard for integrated motor drives and decarbonize heavy industries. H3X -
