About Eric Marcus

Graduate of the Cyber Security Defensive Program at the University of Central Florida. Demonstrated ability familiarity with network administration through hands on experience with MS Server (Active Directory), Kali Linux, Cisco, Routing and Switching as well as security, PfSense, Snort, Splunk, Wireshark, Nmap, Nagios, etc. via academic lab work. I'm looking for an entry level position and plan to tackle an array of certifications as I go forward in this new career. For the past 10 years, I have been the Office Manager for a Pediatric Neurology office in East Orlando. This includes overseeing the day to day operations, proper management of doctors, nurses and front desk personnel, and ensuring that both short term and long term goals for the office are set and achieved. I am well versed in HIPAA, communicating with Insurance companies, interviewing/hiring, ADP Payroll, Quickbooks, and MS Office. In these past 10 years, I am proud to also have accumulated essential soft skills that include leadership, conflict resolution, networking, team building, punctuality, and others. I am looking to take the skills that I have accumulated over the years, and put them towards my true passion of Cyber Security/IT.
