My internship at Aroostook Technologies allows me to gain hands on experience in network security and Networking Implementation. My time is focused on identifying vulnerabilities with implementing effective solutions. I collaborate with a small talented team to ensure the integrity of network operations. This role allows me to develop critical skills in troubleshooting and network analysis, Network Engineering, while contributing to a safer digital environment. Northern Maine Community College has provided a strong foundation in cybersecurity and information security through an Associate’s degree program. The coursework emphasizes areas such as Linux security, network defense, and system threat analysis. Hands on labs and practical scenarios have supported the development of skills in identifying vulnerabilities and protecting critical systems. Motivated to contribute to safeguarding data and supporting mission driven objectives, with an interest in continually advancing expertise in cybersecurity.
