About Eric Martinez

As a sous chef at JOEY Restaurant Group, I bring over 17 years of culinary experience, a passion for creating memorable dishes, and a commitment to excellence in hospitality and service. I graduated from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and obtained a Serv-Safe certification, demonstrating my knowledge and skills in restaurant, catering, and food safety management. I have worked in various settings and locations, from Hollywood to Newport Beach, from bakeries to banquet facilities, from exhibition catering to on-site barbecuing. I have also trained and worked with contestants and the winner of Top Chef Season 2, and catered for CBS and Paramount Studios. Through these diverse and challenging experiences, I have developed competencies in team building, menu development, cost control, and customer satisfaction. I also launched my own catering company, Lil Meatball Inc, which represents my family values, fun attitude, and love for food. I am always eager and willing to learn new ideas, techniques, and recipes, and to share them with my guests and colleagues.
