About Eric Maundu

I grew up in a hunter gatherer community – which meant you don’t quit until you get to the objective. It also means I grew up waking up with nothing but a skill set for providing. Quitting is still not an option even if it means creating from nothing. I have a strong background in industrial electronics, computer science and extensive experience as a systems engineer solving interesting challenges. The combination of growing up in deserts and an engineering background puts me in a unique position to address basic human needs using modern technologies My company Kijani Grows is built on this vision. Wearing my engineering hat, I have created the Kijani Grows Smart Controller Platform which consists of both electronics hardware and software platform for interacting with physical environments. I currently use this for controlling and monitoring smart aquaponic gardens with DIY kits for education, home and industrial use. I have sold numerous garden kits, integrated smart IoT control systems, as well as electronics hardware, with API users both locally and internationally. I am looking for co-founders that will help scale and grow Kijani Grows notably with business development and operations.
