About Eric McCann

With over eight years of experience in the Engineering Consulting industry, I have developed a comprehensive grasp of the design and construction standards for most electrical systems required within a diverse range of building classifications. I am well versed with the detailed design and construction administration stages for projects such as EV charging infrastructure, TI/CRU improvements, large scale institutional buildings, high-building residential/commercial developments, and light-industrial medium-voltage distribution. Recently I have been improving my experience with project management, proposal writing, and project cost analysis. My principle understanding of applicable codes and standards including CSA, CAN/ULC, and NBCC are continually improving. I am passionate about mastering my understanding of power distribution systems, their limitations and latest technologies, interaction among components, and the constantly improving capabilities they adopt. Additionally, I have strong interests regarding power generation, transmission and distribution infrastructure, and the renewable energies sector. Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, hiking, biking, NFL, yoga, skiing, and snowboarding.
