I work as Guest Researcher at Tilburg University. My area of interest is research into the effects of vocational skills in the connection between education and the labor market. I do research in the context of personal development and professional training. My research focus is on multivariate analysis using Spectral Map Analysis (SMA) and Correspondance Analysis (CA). Methods, tools and techniques for exploratory data analysis and visualization have my interest (Stata, Spectramap, R, SPSS). For ten years I was senior lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS. Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA)). I was appointed at Nyenrode Business Universiteit in 2007 at the Strategy Center. At Nyenrode I also was director of the full time MSc degree program that was voted the best MSc in business management in the Netherlands in 2009 and again in 2010 (Keuzegids Masters 2011). I have been working in the ICT industry since 1984 and held positions as a consultant and ICT manager as well as managing director of several firms. I worked for KPMG Management Consultants, Oasis BV, Paradigm BV, Randstad (Yacht), the Ministry of Education (OCW) and the Careyn Group (CAG). I gained extensive experience with leading innovation teams both for software application development, for hardware deployment and networks (ICT infrastructures). I studied Information Analysis & Management at the Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht (post doc). At the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, he studied art history, logic and epistemology. I completed my MBA at Bradford University/Nimbas in 1992. I received his PhD at Maastricht University with the thesis: Accounting for Trends. Relevance, explanatory and predictive power of force & momentum accounting. I published articles both in professional and academic journals.
