LEGISLATIVE BACKGROUND POLITICAL CAMPAIGN EXPERIENCE FUNDRAISING EXPERTISE MARKETING & PUBLIC RELATIONS EDUCATION After 5 year enlistment with the 1st Cavalry Division in the US ARMY and tour in IRAQ cut short by an improvised explosive device, I was honored with a PURPLE HEART. I then completed a degree in JOURNALISM/PUBLIC RELATIONS at Western IL University. I followed with an internship in CONGRESS in Washington DC, and then participated in the prestigious, Legislative Staff Internship Program at the Illinois State Capitol and was hired by the State Senate Staff. I started at the entry level in political campaigns and by gaining the knowledge of operations, EVENT COORDINATION, COMMUNITY OUTREACH, and FUNDRAISING, worked my way up to managing State Senate campaigns and eventually coordinated multi-county and regional field operations for state-wide Governor campaigns. Knowledge comes from experience, and experience comes from failure. I am always looking to gain knowledge and experience in all that I do to work my way up in life, career, and goals.
