About Eric Neyen

ERIC NEYEN, MBA, MAE Littleton, CO I have a wealth of successful teaching, leadership, management, and coaching experience. I have a proven track record of student success in a district with a population comprised of families of which almost 90% are at or below poverty level and 90% minority. While their core educational proficiency scores ranged from 28%-44%, my students' key business skill scores increase dramatically over a 3 year period and have an average proficiency score above 90%. I believe the most important role as a teacher is to motivate and inspire the students to want to learn; the desire and hunger for education is the key to real learning. I will do this by managing and coaching the students with solid, performance based techniques and through designing a curriculum that challenges students to do more than they think they can, and prove it. I use excel to keep continuum charts on students and classes in regards to productivity and growth and have the students do the same (see "Performance Charts" below). I have brought my business philosophies to the classroom in order to maximize the productivity and efficiency of each student and whole classes. In business, I was tasked with designing an employee review process for the company. I created a process that turned subjective data into objective measures. In the classroom I look for the same opportunities to create objective efficiencies from subjective data.
