About Eric Nilsson
I recently graduated from the Golf Academy of America, San Diego in December 2013 with honors and three certificates: Club Repair, Golf Instruction and Tournament Operations. Academically I achieved enough to receive the President's Award from the Golf Academy but fell short by 4 strokes in the P.G.A.'s Playing Ability Test (P.A.T.). I plan to play in the P.A.T. again shortly, however since I was withing 5 strokes of the target score I am allowed and plan on beginning the P.G.A. Management program. Previous to the Golf Academy I gained great management experience in the hospitality industry from 2010 to 2012 that is invaluable to my understanding and ability for leadership, problem-solving and teamwork. With these achievements I am looking to begin a long lasting career in the golf industry while continuing my education both formally and informally to build my human capital. My goal is to be the greatest asset and investment for any and all of the companies I work for in the future.
