About Eric Nodiff

I have over 35 years of experience as in-house and outside counsel to companies in the medical device and other industries. For 15 years, I served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Cantel Medical Corp.(acquired by Steris in 2021), a global medical device company that increased revenues from $220M to $1 billion during my tenure. In addition to counseling the board of directors, executive management team and business leaders on both legal and business matters, I led 30+ acquisitions while building and managing a team of 15 attorneys and compliance specialists. I focused primarily on mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions, employment/HR matters, significant distribution agreements and other complex contracts, general corporate matters, SEC and NYSE filings, IP oversight, compliance matters, litigation management and dispute resolution. I also created and maintained programs to ensure a culture of high integrity within organizations. I am an expert on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and numerous other international laws and regulations addressing corruption. In particular, I provided worldwide live and video anti-corruption training of employees in the U.S, Canada, England, Holland, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, and China. Prior to joining Cantel, I was a partner at Dornbush Schaeffer Strongin & Venaglia, LLP, where I served as outside general counsel to small and medium sized public and private companies and advised on a broad range of corporate and securities transactions including mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings (including IPOs), financing transactions, software licensing, employment matters, commercial contracts, and other corporate transactions. I acted as outside general counsel to several companies, counseling them on the miscellaneous issues arising day to day. In my new position at SVHF, I advise corporate clients on the full spectrum of legal issues that in-house attorneys typically face – contract preparation and negotiation, acquisitions, employment matters, equity and debt financing, compliance and the like. Importantly, having served as an executive and senior advisor in a global public company, I am business-savvy and a strategic thinker providing practical and pragmatic advice on both short-term and long-term issues facing companies (while being mindful of expenses and working as efficiently as possible).
