About Eric Novikoff

I am on-track to become a mindfulness-based transpersonal mental health counselor (LPC) specializing in trauma, attachment, personality disorders, and psychedelic medicine. I am currently enrolled in a masters' program at Naropa University to get my counseling certificate, and in an internship working with seniors and general population at Maria Droste Counseling Center. My theoretical orientation is gestalt therapy, mindfulness, and IFS. I am currently looking for post-graduate opportunities for work and deepening my facility with gestalt therapy and developmental trauma. My therapeutic work builds on decades of management experience in the high tech industry including an IT service company I cofounded, where I found that organizational effectiveness depends on the personal effectiveness of employees, which in turn is based on their mental health and psychospiritual development. More recently, I have provided coaching services based on mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral approaches to clients struggling with life challenges including change, developmental trauma, and relationship difficulties.
