About Eric Ong

I’m a technically grounded manager who thrives on solving complex operational and organisational challenges. I’m driven by understanding how systems, people, and processes connect and by turning that understanding into practical solutions that improve performance and create value. In my current role, I oversee diverse commercial and industrial assets, leading cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver consistent results. I enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity, improving efficiency, and aligning day-to-day operations with broader business objectives. My approach combines analytical thinking with an appreciation for people and collaboration, ensuring that improvements are both sustainable and meaningful. As I complete my MBA at The University of Manchester, I’m broadening my perspective beyond technical management into strategic and cross-disciplinary decision-making. The experience has deepened my interest in how organisations evolve, adapt, and transform, and I’m eager to continue growing in roles that combine operational excellence, strategic thinking, and people leadership.
