While continuing to run the logistics team, my role was expanded to set up the Fleet and Freight team. Main achievements include: • Successfully set up a team structure in the logistics department, defined the team’s structure, designed job roles, and KPIs for clerks, drivers, Delivery assistants and supervisors. • Developed an Logistical management tool using google sheets to track orders and fuel consumption tool • Introduced loss control mechanism to reduce theft during loading and deliveries. • Designed a better way of reducing transport costs across all products. • Created and enforced detailed warehouse receiving & issuance processes that helped improve our inventory accuracy to 95%. • On-boarded trained and supervised a 30-person high-performing warehouse team.
