About Eric Palander

Eric holds a Master of Science degree in Automation and Mechatronics Engineering (Jan, 2007) with focus on automation, manufacturing and organization. Eric started his engineering career at Kongsberg Maritime AS (2007) as a software and hardware engineer in DCS systems for oil and gas platforms in the North Sea. During the time on Reinertsen and ÅF (2008-2018) he has continued to immerse himself in DCS system design and also added competence of the whole process automation picture including field instruments and instrument design. Eric has experience that includes project and maintenance activities from the process industry and Norwegian offshore operations, from feasibility, concept and FEED study to detail engineering, follow on, commissioning and as built. You can describe Eric as a calm and methodical team leader, focused engineer with overall control. He is skilled to work both as a team player in large project and alone in single projects. A typical project for Eric includes design and construction of- Control system design - Field instrumentation, actuated valves, transmitters, analysers, fire & gas equipment’s - Electrical equipment in hazardous area - Instrument Engineering Estimates - Installation management - Project planning
