About Eric Pan

I have worked on projects to help develop them. These projects could be either a solution that is used within the company or for customers to use. I have had experience working on these projects with a team or independently. These projects are focused on automation and efficiency and are developed through a coding framework to maximize these goals. My interests lie in development. I am a developer of web apps, mobile apps, and software applications. My experience comes from my education, competition experience, and extracurriculars. I have worked on a variety of projects using different tools and technologies. I continue to learn new tools and technologies to apply to new projects. Some projects include: 1) I developed a stock tracking website to allow users to keep track of their favorite stock information. This project was accomplished by using React, Node.js, MongoDB, and Firebase. I used React to create the frontend components of the web app along with CSS to stylize those components. I implemented Node.js and MongoDB for the back end of the web app. This allows for the storage of the information of users' favorite stocks. I utilized Firebase as an authenticator. This helps secure users' accounts and their data. 2) I developed a task management app using React Native, JavaScript, and CSS. I used React Native components to create the frontend of the mobile app. I used the React Native library and JavasScript to store the users' information locally. This led to being able to put in place features such as search/sorting of the user's data after being entered. 3) I have used Python to create various projects. Such as creating and training machine learning models to be used to predict the probability of cancer. Creating web socket applications to allow for the creation and connection to online chatrooms.
