Lead of Structural Design for Bouygues International project, combined with having a seismic engineering expertise, structural management and command of BIM technology. Besides, awarded by a post seismic inspector diploma from the French government who give him the right to action after an earthquake and provide building assessment for the authority. Giving to him the responsibility to allow or not the citizen back to their home. Have been appointed as team leader for the mission in Albania after the earthquake of november 2019th. Currently back to Turkmenistan where until 2015 he head Bouygues’ Structural Department, a major geographical location of the company and a zone with high seismic activity, with a constant contact with the government Seismic & Construction Department to ensure compliance with geotechnical and seismic protocols, and to ensure that structural calculation notes comply with Eurocode, SNIP (Russian) Code and SNT (Turkmenistan) Code requirements. Still now the technical supervisor for all seismic calculation on Bouygues projects in the country, for both concrete and steel structures and also a reference to whom the Bouygues Architectural teams go to check that all of the architectural projects comply with seismic models, and are designed with a close eye being kept on quantity and price. For the last 2 years, manage all structural design for 1.5 billion USD projects, leading 2 consultants structural design and realise in house more than 10 shop drawing stage 3 to 5. As a former BIM Manager, I was also the BIM supervisor and coordinator for BYTK, implementing the BIM process in all new projects for all major disciplines and training the Bouygues Engineering Department team. Last but not least, I like to spread and share my accumulated knowledge, publishing a book about construction in seismic zones, training my colleagues in the BIM process, teaching civil engineering classes throughout my career (currently in Ashgabat University), and demonstrating to Bouygues’ insurers the efficiency of the construction methods he uses in Turkmenistan to avoid any damage to buildings when earthquakes happen. Sometimes, I succeeded in convincing them to finance Bouygues projects.
